About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Teacher to join our team and build on the strong relationships at the heart of our centre.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for career progression and wants to develop their bicultural practice and awareness. You’ll be supported to grow your skills, take on new opportunities and make a meaningful difference for tamariki and whānau.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a mix of opening and closing shifts.
Role requirements:
We are looking for someone who has:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
- Experience working in ECE
- A strong interest in developing bicultural awareness and practice
- A passion for teaching and learning
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending children’s learning
- Knowledge of current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A desire to grow their career and take on new challenges
