About the Role

We’re seeking a caring, creative, and flexible Preschool/Nursery Teacher to nurture and inspire our tamariki in a newly renovated, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

This is a permanent part-time position (30 hours per week, Monday–Friday). You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience across all age groups, supporting where you’re needed most, so flexibility and adaptability are key.

You’ll plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced, if you’re passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Bring:

  • BEd/Dip Teaching (ECE, Level 7) and current teacher certification 
  • A strong understanding of child-led curriculum and extending learning 
  • Good knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance expectations 
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice 
  • Passion, creativity, and dedication to delivering quality education
