BestStart Redwood is excited to welcome a passionate, dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to our energetic, supportive, and well‑established team. This is a permanent, full‑time position (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday) in our preschool space, working with children aged 2–5 years.

About the Role

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and who thrives in a collaborative, high‑quality teaching environment.

You will bring:

  • A BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification
  • Strong understanding of child‑led curriculum, planning, and extending children’s learning
  • Solid knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice
  • Passion, professionalism, and a focus on delivering high‑quality teaching and learning
