About the Role
This fixed-term role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday is based in our Kiwi Room (2–3.5-year-olds). You’ll encourage independence, communication, and curiosity through a play-based curriculum that follows children’s interests. Our large sleep room supports rest routines, and we work closely with whānau to maintain consistency between home and centre.
Role Requirements
We are looking for educators who:
- Hold a BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification
- Understand and can implement child-led curriculum, planning, and extending learning
- Have strong knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance standards
- Demonstrate commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in pedagogical practice
- Are passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education
