About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
In this role, you will:
- Join a caring and collaborative Under 2s teaching team
- Build trusting relationships with infants, toddlers, and their whānau
- Create engaging learning experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths, and development
- Support children's wellbeing through responsive and respectful caregiving
- Contribute to a positive, reflective team culture focused on quality care and education
- Foster meaningful connections that create a strong sense of belonging for tamariki and whānau
Role Requirements
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing teacher with a genuine love for working with infants and toddlers and also:
- Holds a BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current New Zealand Teaching Certification
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and current ECE Regulations
- Values child-led learning and meaningful, responsive interactions
- Has experience with programme planning, assessment, and learning documentation
- Shows a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through everyday pedagogical practice
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset to their teaching practice
- Is committed to delivering exceptional care and learning outcomes for tamariki
