BestStart Pinnacles is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about creating meaningful and intentional learning experiences. Our goal is to help children develop the skills they need to become confident, capable lifelong learners.

About the Role

We welcome both newly qualified teachers and experienced educators who have a passion for early childhood education. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

You will be working with children over the age of two, playing a key role in their growth and development. Through our BestStart Set for School programme, you will help build early literacy and numeracy skills while fostering independence to ensure a smooth transition into school.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who is committed to making a difference in young learners’ lives. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Teaching (ECE) – Level 7 and a current Teacher Certification
  • A strong understanding of child-led curriculum and planning for individual learning needs
  • Knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance and safety
  • A passion for Te Tiriti o Waitangi and incorporating its principles into teaching practices
  • A dedication to providing high-quality education and care
