About the Role:  

Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This is a fixed term position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday to cover parental leave, ending in April 2025.

You will be working alongside our over 2 year old tamariki.  Our centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment designed to support children's growth and development. With spacious, well-organized classrooms filled with age-appropriate resources, children are encouraged to explore and engage in meaningful play. 

Role requirements:  

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:  

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification  
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning  
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard  
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices  
  • Being flexible with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
