About the role
As our Nursery Kaiako, you will help provide high‑quality education and care for our pēpi (0–2 years). You’ll join a fully staffed, collaborative nursery team licensed for 16 babies, where responsive care, secure attachments, and calm, nurturing practice are at the heart of our day.
This is a permanent, full‑time role (40 hours, Monday–Friday).
We’re looking for someone who is:
- ECE qualified and holds a current practising certificate
- Passionate about infant development
- Nurturing, reliable, and a strong team player
- Confident in child‑led curriculum and planning
- Knowledgeable about ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance
- Committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in daily practice
- Dedicated to delivering high‑quality teaching and ongoing professional growth
