About the Role:
Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This position is based in our Preschool working with our 2 year to approx. 3.5 year olds. We provide an environment where children are encouraged to be themselves. Here they develop a stronger sense of who they are. They can explore their environment using all their senses. Children are encouraged to take risks, while being supported to achieve the tasks they set out to do.
This is a fixed term position working 32 hours over four days Monday - Thurs, between 7am-6pm, ending June 2025.
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
