BestStart Kelvin Grove is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our energetic, close-knit team.

About the role

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is key, as shifts vary across the week.

You’ll be based in Matai, one of our two fantastic preschool rooms for tamariki aged 3–4. This space is thoughtfully designed for confident, independent learners, with play areas that encourage small group interaction and support the development of social and emotional skills.

About you

You’ll bring:

  • BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current certification
  • Strong understanding of child-led learning and planning
  • Knowledge of Te Whāriki and ECE regulations
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • Passion for quality teaching and learning
