About the Role

We are looking for a passionate teacher to join our team in a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week), working across 4 or 5 days.

You will primarily work with our 2-5 year old tamariki, while remaining flexible to work across other age groups and rooms when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a centre that values strong relationships, community engagement, and quality teaching practice.

Role Requirements

We're looking for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young learners and who brings:

  • BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current New Zealand Teacher Certification
  • Strong understanding of child-led curriculum and extending children's learning
  • Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE Regulations, and compliance requirements
  • A commitment to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi through teaching practice
  • Passion for teaching and learning, with a focus on high-quality outcomes for tamariki
