Start Here. Grow Here.
Are you a passionate, qualified kaiako who thrives in a nurturing, home-like environment where relationships and community truly matter? We’d love to welcome you into our team. This is a 35-hour fixed-term position until 25 September 2026.
At our centre, tamariki learn, grow, and thrive in natural, thoughtfully designed spaces across our three age-appropriate rooms. Each environment supports children at their unique age and stage, creating a relaxed, joyful atmosphere where lifelong learning begins.
What Makes Us Special?
Home-like, natural environments
Our calm, engaging spaces encourage exploration, confidence, and holistic development.
Strong whānau partnerships
Relationships sit at the heart of our practice. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, settled, and supported. Our open-door policy means whānau are always welcome.
Active community connections
We love being part of our wider community. Regular visits to our local rest home, The Bayview, support children to build empathy, kindness, and meaningful intergenerational relationships.
We also support local charities and nurture a strong sense of giving back.
Sustainability-focused learning
Tamariki learn to care for Papatūānuku through recycling, reducing waste, and everyday sustainable practices.
