This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 

In this role, you will:

  • Create inspiring learning opportunities across our 16 areas of play.
  • Encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence.
  • Build warm, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and your teaching team.
  • Contribute your ideas, strengths, and leadership qualities to our centre culture.
  • Support planning, assessment, and reflective practice guided by Te Whāriki.
  • Work collaboratively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
  • Value teamwork, relationships, and continuous growth.
