About the Role:

We’re looking for a Qualified Teacher to join our 3-year-old room, working with around 20 tamariki within our open, multi-space centre.

Our Primary Caregiving approach means strong relationships are at the heart of what we do. Teachers continue to walk alongside tamariki as they transition between rooms, providing consistency and building on the relationships already established.

You’ll support engaging, child-led learning experiences while building strong relationships with tamariki and whānau. There are also opportunities to get out and explore with our tamariki and take part in regular centre activities.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, mainly 8am-4.30pm with a couple of closing shifts from 9am-5.30pm.

Role requirements:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
  • Has some experience working in ECE
  • Is reliable, positive, and a strong team player
  • Is open to giving and receiving feedback
  • Is eager to learn, develop, and grow their career
  • Builds respectful and meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau
  • Has a good understanding of Te Whariki and child-led learning

New graduates, Primary-qualified and internationally trained teachers are also encouraged to apply.
