BestStart Burnside is looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our energetic, close-knit team. This role is based in our 3.5–5-year-old room, working alongside children as they prepare for their transition to school.

About the Role

  • Permanent position, 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
  • Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced teachers

Requirements

  • BEd/Diploma in Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary)
  • Current Teacher Certification
  • Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki and ECE regulations
  • Understanding of child-led curriculum and assessment
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
