About the Role:

BestStart Birkdale is currently seeking a qualified and passionate teacher to join our dedicated Infants team. As a well-established center deeply rooted in the community, we take pride in our strong team of teachers committed to providing a nurturing educational environment.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. 

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:

• B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
• Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
• A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
• Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
