Ma te huruhuru ka rere te manu – Adorn the bird with feathers so it may soar

BestStart Berryfields Crossing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our close-knit, supportive team. Located in a growing community, our centre is led by a highly skilled teaching team committed to providing strong guidance and collaboration.

With the Richmond Ranges as our backdrop, our centre reflects strength, stability, and continuity — creating a safe, nurturing space where tamariki feel secure and ready to learn.

Guided by the symbolism of the Waimea River, our teaching adapts to each child’s unique needs. We celebrate growth and development through meaningful events like Matariki, our centre’s birthday, and Christmas — fostering connection and belonging.

We nurture both body and mind, serving nutritious meals tailored to all dietary needs. Karakia before eating and the presence of our kaiāwhina at mealtimes create a warm, respectful environment that supports children’s wellbeing and relationships.
