About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

As a valued member of our teaching team, you will:

  • Advocate for equitable outcomes for all tamariki
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Contribute to our centre philosophy, local curriculum, and strategic priorities
  • Build meaningful partnerships with families and whānau
  • Support children's learning through thoughtful assessment, planning, and evaluation
  • Create engaging learning environments that reflect children's interests and strengths
  • Uphold health, safety, and compliance requirements
  • Actively participate in your Professional Growth Cycle

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

  • BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) qualification
  • Current New Zealand Teaching Certification
  • Strong understanding of child-led learning and curriculum planning
  • Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki and current ECE regulations
  • A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice
  • Passion for delivering high-quality education and care
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
