About the role:
You will take on the role of a hands-on QA leader tasked with advancing practices, processes, test automation, and the testing capabilities for various platforms. This position guarantees that delivery and platform teams can deploy, scale, and manage services in a secure and safe manner.
Who are you?
You will act as a technology advocate and active participant, promoting contemporary testing methodologies, teamwork, automation, and sensible risk-based strategies to implement changes in essential business applications. You will have proven experience in overseeing testing within agile teams and testing initiatives, enhancing testing capabilities, executing test strategies, and offering mentorship and advice.
Your planning and communication abilities will be exceptional, as you will need to engage in solution discovery and planning, define requirements, create specifications, provide estimations, conduct experiments, and manage release planning.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Craft, execute, and refine testing methods and processes, including automation, managing non-production environments, test data management and coordinating release management.
- Participate in communities of practice, platform exploration, and operational monitoring tasks. Offering proactive advice and assistance across the teams’ platforms and services.
- Deliver scheduled 24/7 on-call support for system-related issues within the scope of the platform group’s responsibilities.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Over 10 years of experience in the testing field.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in cross-functional, agile team settings.
- Relevant technology certifications ranging from associate to expert levels.
