The Role

Reporting to the General Manager in the role of Purchasing & Sales Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in forecasting, issuing and follow-up of orders, creation of sales orders & job packs, and assisting in booking of freight in an efficient and timely manner. In addition, you will work closely with both the internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and is the required quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:  

  • Strong planning and organisational  skills, ability to multi-task and deal with a varied workload
  • Fantastic customer service focus and the ability to build strong relationships with ease 
  • Proficiency in computers, in particular Microsoft packages and experience ideally using MRP systems
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels
  • Good follow through and attention to detail. 
  • Solid data entry skills
