Property Operations Specialist

Join the team here at TSB as a Property Operations Specialist and help us deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality property services across our network. Working closely with our Property Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in making sure all property activities are run efficiently and in line with our standards, policies, and procedures.

About the role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of property services, covering both reactive and planned maintenance. You’ll have a strong focus on Health, Safety and Security, helping ensure our environments remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.

You’ll be based on site in New Plymouth at least four days a week. The role also includes being part of a rostered on-call schedule to support after-hours emergencies and security needs when required.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative or similar role, ideally within property and facilities
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver operational excellence
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • Good level of physical fitness and a full NZ driver’s licence
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the management and upkeep of TSB’s premises, including asset tracking, lease administration, insurance data, and business continuity planning
  • Helping maintain property agreements, ensuring they remain compliant and up to date
  • Assisting with coordination and management of TSB’s vehicle fleet, keeping it safe and operational
  • Managing day-to-day property requests and coordinating on-site works, while continuously improving processes
  • Ensuring all premises meet Physical Security, Risk, and Health & Safety standards, alongside supporting our environmental commitments
  • Responding quickly and effectively to urgent property, security, or safety issues to protect our people and customers
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across property, vehicle, and asset activities
  • Working with suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money and strong, trusted partnerships
