About the role
As part of our strategic vision, we are well progressed on our technology transformation journey. As Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) grows, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Digital Business team at Craigs Investment Partners (CIP). This is a permanent full-time role based in Tauranga.

This role will provide leadership and delivery of the growing backlog of projects, ensuring successful implementation across process, technology, and people dimensions. The role is responsible for providing strong vendor and stakeholder management, managing governance and risk, as well as partnering with the change team to enable change adoption.

The key responsibilities for the Project Manager role will be to:

  • Oversee change management strategies, including communication, training, and adoption plans.
  • Work collaboratively and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring requirements a clearly defined and met.
  • Manage stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations throughout the project, and ensuring a collaborative approach to deliver to requirements
  • Maintain robust governance, reporting, and compliance with CIP and NZX standards.

 About you
You will have strong vendor management experience including procurement, negotiation and performance oversight. You will have excellent scope & solution management, and the ability to translate high level business requirements into project scope. You must be able to adapt to the changing demands of the role, adjusting your approach as needed to the different levels of stakeholders you will work with. 

You will also have:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels of the business. 
  • Sound understanding of core project management concepts, including scope, dependency and risk management, and other common project management tools
  • Ability to identify and actively manage project risks
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to plan and prioritise workloads to deliver results
  • Ability to integrate project and change management plans
  • Understanding of change management impacts, with an ability to identify change requirements and ensure they are handed over to the change team
  • Strong industry knowledge of Financial Services is an advantage but not essential.
