Horowhenua District Council’s Infrastructure Operations Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager who has a reputation for getting things done and wants to reap the rewards of getting our large infrastructure projects delivered on time and in budget. The Horowhenua District is currently experiencing extraordinary growth and we need a team member to join our busy and high performing team.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that key infrastructure projects are developed in collaboration with our key partners and that they are delivered systematically, efficiently, on time and within budget. These projects include our response to the growth, O2NL, Taraika development and delivery of local waters growth and renewal, reticulation and plant upgrade projects.
He kōrero mōu - About you
You’ll have a strong track record of financial, and programme management and experience in delivering complex projects with the necessary change management involved. You will have at least 3 + years’ experience in Three Waters renewal / improvement projects, ideally water and wastewater treatment plant experience. Contract and project management experience essential this includes the ability to work alongside your wider internal colleagues and subcontractors.
You’ll ideally know the ins and outs of government and regulatory environments, have a proven track record of influencing and building credibility, and be skilled in writing reports, analytically thinking and planning.
