We need an experienced, organised and detail-oriented project manager who is adept at juggling multiple workstreams. We need a project professional who knows their way around a breadth of project management methodologies, tools and approaches and isn’t afraid to take the lead in ensuring they have the things they need to successfully deliver their work and/or supporting others to do so.  

You will be responsible for planning and sequencing the work and resources required for our core replacement programme. You will support the Technical Programme Lead and the technical workstream leads to deliver on this important strategic priority for the Bank – a programme that consists of multiple inter-related workstreams. 

You will be required to carry out standard project management activities which will come naturally to you as an experienced project manager - plans, schedules, resource allocation, risks, issues, dependencies, reporting, meeting facilitation, cross functional collaboration, etc. 

This role will work directly with the team’s Programme Lead (Technical) and will engage with the Bank’s broader business and technology delivery plan to ensure the execution and sequencing on technology project delivery is aligned with this plan and other strategic priorities. This will mean working with other leaders, internal delivery teams and collaboratively with 3rd Party vendors, to deliver each project. 

You’ll bring the following to the table: 

  • Demonstrable project management experience 
  • Project Scheduling (Microsoft Project to an intermediate to advanced level is essential) 
  • Managing multiple workstreams, projects and stakeholders 
  • Comfortable working in a technical environment 
  • Experience delivering change across a broad range of people, process and systems 
  • Banking or Financial Services experience in a technical project role is preferable
