Production Supervisor - Day Shift
At Rockit, we’re passionate about growing great people and delivering world-class apple packing operations. We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Production Supervisor to step into a key leadership role in our modern apple packhouse.
About the Role
Supporting the Shift Manager, this role is key to ensuring our packing operation runs safely, efficiently, and to specification while delivering strong throughput and quality outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who is ready to grow their leadership capability and bring their hands-on supervisory experience to a fast-paced production environment.
Key responsibilities include:
· Manage the flow of apples to align with people and plant availability
· Identify and implement process improvements
· Deliver production targets in line with shift KPIs
· Organise labour allocation across lanes
· Guide and support Chargehands to ensure packhouse team members are effectively trained and developed
· Troubleshoot production issues
· Analyse production data and reporting insights
· Document best practices and deliver training to lift team performance
What You’ll Bring
· A strong people focus, with the ability to lead a large and diverse packhouse team of permanent and seasonal employees
· Experience in packhouse, food manufacturing, or similar production environments
· Familiarity with Compac Spectrum or similar software is preferred
· A solid understanding of quality standards and compliance
· Intermediate computer skills
