Product Owner
The Opportunity
We’re looking for two strategic and collaborative Product Owners to lead the vision, development, and delivery of key products that support FMG’s business strategy. These pivotal roles ensure alignment across technical, and people readiness teams and maximises value across multiple workstreams.
We are looking for a Product Owner to own the product vision for FMG’s product strategy and associated client policies and a Product Owner to own the product vision in accordance with FMG’s Pricing and Underwriting strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision and roadmap aligned with business needs.
- Lead agile product management practices including backlog prioritisation and release planning.
- Collaborate with development teams and subject matter experts to deliver high-value features.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage expectations effectively.
- Support change planning, training, and benefit realisation activities.
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Proven experience in product ownership, agile methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Understanding of rural communities and their challenges is a plus.
