We are the only Foodservice supplier based in Taupō, driven by hard work and a passion for good food. Supplying all the top restaurants and cafes and everything in between, we are a team of relaxed yet professional people that thrives on delivering exceptional service.
We are looking for an energetic, business-focused Fresh 2IC to join our team here in Taupō.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Accurate picking, packing and loading stock for our delivery vehicles
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
- Working & communicating with fellow team members maintaining a positive environment and a can – do attitude.
- Compliance with food safety requirements
- Continuity of health and safety checks
- Attention to product handling i.e. damages during picking and loading
- FIFO stock rotation
- Fresh stocktaking
- Ordering as required
- Managing rosters
- Completing various administration tasks within the Produce department
- Assisting with other duties in the operation where needed
Days of work will be Tuesday to Saturday with hours being flexible between 5am and 5pm. Rotating Monday shifts will be rostered according to requirements, and/or to cover leave.
Experience in a warehouse and purchasing operation would be an advantage but not required as full training will be given.
