An exciting opportunity has become available for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our Imports team based in North Shore, Auckland. 

This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely procurement of international goods. It supports the end-to-end import procurement process, including forecasting, order management, supplier communication, internal stakeholder engagement and shipping coordination.

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, we are a close-knit team of 14 based within the Simply Food Solutions Imports division, a wholly owned entity of Bidfood Ltd with over 2,200 employee nationwide. While we are a small and agile unit, we benefit from being part of a large, well established organisation. Key responsibilities:

· Raise and manage international POs in line with forecast and demand

· Supplier management and stakeholder communication

· Liaise with offshore suppliers to confirm order details, lead times and shipment schedules

· Maintain accurate records of procurement data and supplier communication

· Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or understocking, main and update contract based forecast to ensure supply continuity

Skills & Experience

 Qualifications and Experience:

· Relevant qualification and background, experience in food is preferred

· 2+ years of proven experience in inventory management and purchasing within FMCG

· Strong communication skills in both written and verbal are essential

· Proficient in excel (filters, vlookups, pivot etc) and basic knowledge of PowerBI

· Growth and analytical mind set
