About the Role

We seek to fill Production Worker positions at our produce processing facility in St Johns, Auckland.

Reporting to the Factory Manager,  you will play a key role in ensuring quality products are generated in the facility. The role will mainly include machine operation, manual handling, product packing, labelling and stock management.  You will be required to follow strict standard operating procedures of the facility and maintain high standards of food processing hygiene and safety. To be considered you will have strong communications skills and the ability to work with a team. 

The operating hours are between 6am and 5pm, so the applicants must be flexible with start and finish times with the option to work additional hours as required. The 7 day nature of the business will require that one weekend day be worked each week.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Previous processing experience will be an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided 
• Be physically fit and able to safely lift as heavy lifting is required as part of the job
• Be able to demonstrate accuracy with numbers and adequate level of verbal and written English
• Attention to detail to ensure products meet the required quality standards
• Able to work well in a team
• Fork hoist license will be beneficial
