About the role
As the Principal Solution Architect, you will define and drive the solution architecture practices for our organisation. You will lead a team of Solution Architects, ensuring adherence to our architecture principles, patterns, and policies. Your role is crucial in providing thought leadership on best solution and design practices across architecture and engineering communities that aligns with our business goals
Who are you?
You will demonstrate proven success in creating and upholding extensive solution architecture methodologies. Extensive experience in collaboration with domain architects to ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps and architectural vision.
Have proven experience to positively Lead a team; where you will have the skills to direct, guide and nurture a team of Solution Architects promoting a culture of creativity ongoing education and technical proficiency. Establish and lead a community of practice focused on Solution Architecture.
Possess a profound understanding of contemporary architectural principles, patterns, and best practices. Advocate for exemplary practices in architecture and design.
Solid experience within Governance and Compliance, where you ensure that architectural designs meet security standards and regulatory obligations. Supervise the design of secure, auditable systems.
Ability to Lead with Innovation and Best Practices, where you have a deep understanding of modern architectural principles, patterns and best practices. Champion best practices in architecture and design.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Architect end-to-end solutions across a diverse range of banking products and services.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Translate business requirements into architectural roadmaps and blueprints.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, and leading solution architecture practices and teams
- Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable solutions within the Financial Services Sector.
