Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

We are seeking a kaimahi to provide primary health and wellbeing care to Wintec students and staff seeking an experience practice nurse or nurse prescriber to join our team for 3 days a week (20 hours). Additional hours are available to cover leave periods.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $70,400 - $92,400 dependent on skills and experience. 

  • To provide quality primary health care to Wintec students and staff
  • The role works primarily to deliver safe, effective patient centred care utilising evidence based/best practice nursing standards and efficient use of resources 
  • To act as client advocate in maximising access to health care and improved health outcomes
  • Incorporating RN prescriber role into consultations where applicable

He kōrero mōu| About you

  • Prior experience working in a primary health care setting. 
  • Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Have a current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand 
  •  Current Level 4 or above CPR, independent vaccinator, and smear taker certificate. 
  • Are computer literate with experience in Medtech PMS and MS Office 
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development
  • Contribute towards equitable outcomes
  • Be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a busy team.
