The role
Reporting directly to the Manager – Business Planning & Pricing, this role will see you responsible for analysing key pricing related data and understanding internal and external trends to support pricing decisions. The automotive industry is changing faster than ever - so come and join us on our journey to the future of mobility.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis into the New Zealand New Vehicle market to support Toyota and Lexus price setting
- Preparation of pricing analysis and proposal papers to support pricing negotiations
- Monthly competitor analysis reporting for key stakeholders
- Metric tracking and reporting
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to be both proactive, and analytical. You will be the type of person who loves to work with data and craft a story from what you find. An analytical mind will be high on your skillset as will a passion for working with data and numbers. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Highly developed skills in data modelling, data manipulation and statistical analysis
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
- The ability to thrive in a busy environment and meet tight deadlines
- The ability to pick up new systems
- Previous experience as a Data Analyst or vehicle industry knowledge is advantageous
