Pricing & Portfolio Analyst
FMG has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing and Portfolio Analyst to join our team, based in our Wellington Office and reporting to Head of Pricing and Portfolio Analytics. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills, knowledge and fresh ideas to contribute to the continued development and implementation of FMG’s pricing strategy.
About the Role:
- Monitor FMG insurance products’ performance.
- Create and maintain regular product performance reporting
- Analyse claims trends to identify variances and action areas.
- Implement pricing changes aligned with our strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams on pricing queries and system enhancements.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in a quantitative field.
- Passion for analysis, problem-solving, and working with large datasets.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Experience with data manipulation/modelling (SAS, SQL, etc.) preferred.
- Keen to develop personally and professionally.
- Insurance industry or pricing experience is a plus, but not required.
