About the Role: 

The Pricing & Portfolio Analytics Team Manager (Domestic) leads a high-performing team within the Pricing & Portfolio Analytics Team to deliver data-driven insights that improve pricing outcomes and portfolio performance across FMG’s domestic products. The role reports to the Head of Pricing & Portfolio Analytics and plays a key part in delivering initiatives aligned with FMG’s Pricing Strategy, while ensuring strong technical foundations, operational excellence, and alignment to business priorities. As a Delivery Leader, this role contributes to the development and delivery of Business Unit plans, with a focus on providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and leadership to the Domestic Pricing & Portfolio Analytics team to deliver key initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client focus, aligned with FMG’s values.
  • Support the delivery of initiatives aligned with FMG’s Pricing Strategy.
  • Ensure pricing approaches meet regulatory requirements and FMG-specific obligations.
  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of pricing models and frameworks.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders to inform decision making.

 About You:

  • A strong background in insurance pricing, actuarial, or related disciplines, and a passion for people leadership. 
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into practical, high-quality analytical outcomes.
  • Strong technical capability in pricing models, data analysis, and portfolio performance.
  • Confident working across business, analytics, and leadership teams, influencing at all levels.
  • A collaborative leader who builds capability and fosters a high-performing team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex insights.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. actuarial, statistics, data science, or similar), or equivalent experience.
