We are seeking a committed and compassionate Practitioner to join our Adult Residential Service, set on a peaceful six-acre, park-like site in New Windsor, West Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position working Sunday to Thursday on the following rostered schedule.

Sunday 2:15pm to 10:15pm
Monday 10am to 6.00pm
Tuesday 7.45am – 3.45pm
Wednesday 7.45am – 3.45pm
Thursday 7.45am – 3.45pm

About the Role

Working closely with our Clinical Manager and wider Adult Services team, you will provide clinical treatment and support in partnership with tāngata whaiora as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have up to one year’s clinical experience working in partnership with clients/tāngata whai ora in social services, health, addictions or mental health settings
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Health Science, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or postgraduate qualification in AOD)
  • Are registered (or willing to work towards registration) with DAPAANZ or another relevant professional body – with organisational support
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong, respectful relationships with tāngata whai ora, whānau and stakeholders
  • Are open to working within the Therapeutic Community (TC) model
  • Have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori, and Pacific cultural values
  • Hold a full NZ driver’s licence

  • Salary between $69,076 – $79,393 (depending on experience and registration)
  • Annual allowance of $2,500 for evening/weekend shifts
