The Calder Centre is named after the first City Missioner, Jasper Calder, and is a Very Low Cost (VLCA) primary health care service within the Auckland City Mission. The service provides primary health care for a high needs population.
This role has been created to lead the non clinical aspects of our Calder Centre, ensuring smooth running of our cutting edge and innovative primary health services which are responsive to patient's needs and fully integrated with other Mission social and residential services.
Your Role as Practice Manager
As Practice Manager you are responsible for the overall management and operational running of the non-clinical day-to-day operations of Calder Centre including, oversight of staff, management of stakeholders, contracts, patient communication and follow-up. Your focus will be to ensure the delivery of safe, effective services to the whole practice population. You will provide leadership, direction to the team and work collaboratively with other internal and external services to meet the current needs of our patients. As we move into our new HomeGround building you will also work with the Health Services Manager on policy and process development, systems development and any other requirements for integration into the new building.
To be successful in this position you will be an experienced Practice Manager who shares our values and goals of meeting the needs of our cities most marginalized communities. You will have excellent people management skills, proven ability to lead and motivate a team, and work with a complex, diverse and high needs patient group. You will also;
