About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a client Portfolio Fees Senior Administrator to join our Portfolio Fees team working, based in Tauranga. Reporting to the Portfolio Fees Manager, this is a permanent full-time position.

Our Portfolio Fees team is an integral part of Craigs Investment Partners (CIP), ensuring that CIP fee tables are appropriately applied to our clients accounts. The Portfolio Fees Senior Administrator is responsible for ensuring all fee related tasks are applied and administered to client portfolios in a timely manner. The role is also required to provide  support and cover for the Portfolio Fees Manager as required.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Setup and update fee schedules, handling changes when clients close accounts, transferring assets, switching advisers or service levels, and other client fee related tasks.
  • Create, approve, and finalise fee batches for both individual and group accounts in line with agreed schedules and billing cycles.
  • Process fee reversals and replacement invoices, ensuring clear documentation and communication of outcomes.
  • Conduct fee-related checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support and cover for the Portfolio Fees Manager as required, including oversight of team workflow and acting as the escalation point for complex matters.

About you

On this occasion, due to the senior nature of this administrator position, we are ideally looking for someone with prior experience in client administration, or with a Financial Services or banking background. The successful candidate will have experience in managing databases and administering end-to-end process flows. As this role works with data, a high level of attention to detail is vital.

The successful candidate will also have strong organisational, administrative and communication skills (both written and verbal). You will work to daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly timetables, so you will require an ability to prioritise workload effectively. You will have strong computer literacy skills, with an affinity for picking up new systems and processes quickly, and experience using Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft suite.
