Platform Lead - Data
This role provides technical & delivery ownership within our Data Warehouse platform domain, including platforms operational management and continuous improvement backlog delivery.
The purpose of this role is to provide planning, delivery & execution leadership within a given technology domain and platform/service, with a focus on platform innovation, operational excellence, technology enablement and risk reduction.
This role is responsible for the implementation and support of TSB Data Engineering and Warehousing platforms and systems, providing robust and reliable platform infrastructure and data management services for the delivery of new and/or improved insights, experiences and reporting for our business & customers, as well as providing guidance and knowledge of the platform operations, data assets and capabilities for other teams across Technology and our wider organisation.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical leadership role
- 10+ years’ experience in relevant engineering roles, specifically across Data Engineering or Data Warehousing platforms
- Experience working within Agile based and service-oriented environments
- Strong technical & delivery leadership capability, with the ability to coach, negotiate and influence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry would be advantageous
