As a Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing reliability, safety, and performance of our plant and equipment within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across sawmilling and remanufacturing plant
- Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and implementing effective long-term solutions
- Contributing to preventative maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and improve asset reliability
- Working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and plant upgrades
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements and engineering best practice
- Providing technical input and mentoring where required within the wider maintenance team

Our ideal candidate is a practical, safety-focused engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will bring proven maintenance engineering experience within heavy industry, ideally gained in New Zealand or Australia, and be comfortable working with large-scale manufacturing equipment.

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience in preventative and reactive maintenance programmes
