We’re going to be honest, the role of Personal Assistant is diverse, fast moving and multi-faceted. No two days will be the same and you will be kept busy. You will primarily provide direct day to day support to our General Manager Network, but you will also be the right-hand person for our Executive Assistant and Senior Leadership Team. Managing a busy diary whilst ensuring your managers day operates smoothly, only touches the surface; document production, travel booking and co-ordination, database maintenance and management, stakeholder engagement, are some of the other tasks you will be responsible for.

Proven experience as a high performing Personal Assistant with strong communication skills, technical attitude, ability to manage a busy and varied workload and deadlines, not to mention a positive attitude, will make you the front-runner for this role.

About you:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administration role 
  • Certificate in administration, office systems or similar
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with a collaborative style of engagement and experience dealing with external parties. 
  • Highly efficient written and verbal communication 
  • A commitment to the provision of quality services and meeting customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and motivate self to meet deadlines 

What you can expect

A competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dedicated and close-knit team. This role is typically 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday. This is one of our roles that can offer (limited) flexible work options.

The fine print

Safety and wellbeing are paramount to us, so our recruitment process involves a Ministry of Justice criminal history check and a pre-employment alcohol and drug test. It is also a requirement that you must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident or have a valid working visa to apply for this role.
