Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role
We are looking for an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to act as a trusted partner to your designated leaders and teams, partnering to deliver people strategies that enable organisational goals.
In this role you will guide, support and coach our business leaders to get the best out of their teams with a focus on lifting capability, performance and engagement within the teams. You will support managers through complex employment relations matters and change management, ensuring risks are managed effectively and fairly for the business and kaimahi (employees). Your advice will extend across the kaimahi lifecycle and will include a focus on continuous improvement of people practices.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $105,000 –$131,000, dependent on skills and experience.

You will have:
- Significant experience in a People & Culture Business Partner role, preferably in a large and complex organisation.
- Substantial experience supporting ER matters with a balanced and pragmatic approach.
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders with confidence and empathy.
- A sound understanding of New Zealand employment law and contemporary HR practices.
- Experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles by engaging meaningfully with Māori, incorporating tikanga and te ao Māori perspectives in workplace initiatives.
- Strong relationship management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
