Are you either an experienced operational human resource professional or someone with a solid HR background excited to take a further step up in your career? Either way, we have a great opportunity within our People, Culture and Capability team to work with our managers across the PSO family, including Aged Care (Enliven), Social Sector (Family Works) and our Administrative Support Centre.

  • Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Our PCC team and the PCC Advisor support the entire PSO whanau who work together in these areas to ensure a great employee experience within our diverse workforce.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with managers to influence best-practice leadership and people management responses.
  • Provide timely, accurate and lawful advice across the range of PCC matters, including recruitment, performance management, engagement, diversity and inclusion, recognition and reward, Employment Relations, leadership and change management, policy and procedure drafting, reviewing and updating.
  • Support the key PCC strategic objectives so that PSO is an employer of choice, a high performing workforce with a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Contribute to and support the wider PCC team.
  • Consider and identify PCC challenges and opportunities.
  • Design and implement training and solutions grounded within the overall PCC strategic vision.


About you

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in the delivery of operational human resource services
  • Highly professional with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experienced with immigration recruitment within an AEWV environment.
  • An excellent communicator and presenter including via individual coaching and broader workshop delivery.
  • Able to build and maintain trust with all levels of the organisation.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.
  • Able to prioritise competing demands.
