About the Role
Calder Stewart has an opportunity for an experienced People & Capability Administrator to support our People Team, reporting to the People & Capability Manager, this permanent part‑time People & Capability Administrator role provides day‑to‑day HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Based in Christchurch, we are looking for a motivated individual who has loads of initiative and willingness to turn their hand at any task within our team. You will be assisting with our ongoing People Team projects which will include a new HRIS system along with assisting in the employee lifecycle, which will include supporting recruitment, onboarding and employment relationship procedures.
This role would be suitable for someone who wants to grow a career in Human Resources while gaining valuable experience being an integral member of a small but dynamic People Team.
Skills and Attributes
Our ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a great work ethic, enjoy working in a team environment and won't be afraid to take ownership of your work.
Additionally, we will be looking for the following attributes from candidates:
· Extensive administration experience, preferably in Human Resources
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel, and knowledge of SharePoint programs is advantageous
· Knowledge of an HRIS system would be advantageous
· Proven organisational skills along with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whist maintaining the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people
· Maintaining confidentiality is second nature and never negotiable
· A commitment to providing a high-level support and the ability to work to deadlines
