The Peer Support team provides peer-based recovery support to tāngata whai ora (people seeking wellness) within our Family Centre and Adult residential services. The Peer Support team works with tāngata whai ora during the transitional phases of their treatment, to help them onto their treatment pathway and support better recovery outcomes.
We are currently looking to fill a permanent, full time Peer Support Specialist role, based at our community hub in New Lynn. Working closely with the Peer Support Manager and residential services teams, you will help to create hopeful and safe spaces for our tāngata whai ora as well as provide opportunities for them to reflect; learn, connect and move towards achieving their goals.
