Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will work as part of a team and assist with accurate and efficient parts inventory management and supply.  As Parts Store Person you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and following best practice operational guidelines at all times.

Duties will include:

• Receipting of inbound stock orders
• Dispatch of customer orders
• Stock maintenance
• Liaison with freight providers and parts and service teams
• Stock take as required
• General housekeeping duties of the stores department
• Other duties as required

(Note: some lifting is required)

To be considered for this role:

• Have two years’ experience in a similar role (automotive industry preferred, but not essential.
• Have a good understanding of parts department procedures, specifically inventory management.
• Good communication skills, numeracy and computer literacy.
• Have a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate a customer first attitude. 
• Be confident dealing with a variety of customers, both internal and external. 
• Basic mechanical interest and understanding an advantage, but not essential.
• A current forklift licence.
