We are now seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our Tauranga parts department. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with a proven track record who is ready to take the next step with a respected and high-performing dealership.
About the Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead a busy and dynamic parts department, playing a critical role in supporting workshop operations and delivering outstanding service to customers across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the financial performance of the Parts Department
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the team is performing at a high level
- Support the workshop with timely and accurate parts supply
- Manage customer enquiries and sales across phone, email, and counter (retail and trade)
- Maintain and optimise the parts inventory system
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and performance
About You:
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in parts sales and operations, ideally within the automotive or heavy transport industry. You bring a customer-first mindset and a passion for developing both people and performance.
You will demonstrate:
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and engage a team
- Strong knowledge of parts systems, processes, and inventory management
- A solid background in parts sales and customer service
- The ability to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
