❤️ About the role
The Partnerships Specialist sits within our Philanthropy and Partnerships team, part of the wider Fundraising function.
As a Partnerships Specialist, you will help grow and strengthen the Heart Foundation’s partnership portfolio. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships with corporate partners, uncover new opportunities, and help bring our partnership vision to life.
This is a strategic, business development-focused role, ideal for someone who can step in with confidence, set direction, and identify opportunities across the organisation to drive long-term partnership growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and growing a strong pipeline of new partnership opportunities
- Securing high-value partnerships aligned with the Heart Foundation’s strategy and values
- Growing and managing existing partnerships to maximise long-term value
- Managing and delivering on income targets, including forecasting and negotiating agreements
- Delivering income targets through forecasting and effective negotiation
- Contributing to partnership strategy and the overall value proposition
❤️ What you’ll bring
- At least five years’ experience in partnerships, sponsorship, or business development
- Proven success in securing and managing high-value partnerships
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to shape direction and identify new opportunities
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong business and financial insight, including experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Highly developed communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across teams
- Strong planning, organisation, and project management capability
