Packhouse Chargehand

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and join a company that’s passionate about doing things differently? We are seeking two motivated and reliable Chargehands to join our Packhouse production team on a permanent basis.
As a Chargehand, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Shift Manager and Production Supervisor to coordinate and train floor staff. You’ll help maintain our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring our packhouse runs smoothly and our team delivers outstanding results.
In this role you would:
· Co-ordinate packhouse floor staff between areas and lanes.
· Train general floor staff in their roles.
· Liaising with quality staff.
· Supervise staff in line with our values
· Role model Rockit’s values in all your interactions.
This position is on Day Shift with working hours between 6.00am to 4.00pm 6 days per week Monday – Saturday throughout our packing season.

Full training is provided; just bring your positive attitude! We’re looking for:
· People and supervisory experience and great people skills
· Positive, cooperative team member with a proactive attitude.
· Physically able to carry out manual handling and stand for extended periods.
· Strong attention to detail, reliability, and conscientiousness.
· Experience with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an advantage
