Op Shop Manager - 3 month contract - Te Awamutu
Contract: 3 month fixed term, from August to end October. Roster to be discusssed.

About the role:
This is hands -on role leading a team of volunteers, ensuring high levels of customer service and retail operations.
You will be responsible for the management of the shop and the volunteer team. This includes a high standard of customer service, general administration and reporting. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude. You will have good attention to detail and the ability to merchandise and present a retail shop in a way that draws customers through the door.

Your enthusiasm and dedication will see you:·
· Have a minimum of 2 years retail leadership experience
· Preloved, vintage and second hand fashion retail experience would be an advantage
· Have excellent communication and customer skills, be solutions focused with friendly positive can do attitude
· Natural leadership skills that focuses on and values the team
· Have proven ability to recruit, train and manage volunteers
· Hands on experience with visual merchandising and the ability to present a retail shop to a high standard
· Be comfortable using social media to engage and interact with local community.
· Excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize and effectively manage workloads
· Strong administration, computer skills- MS Office and POS
· Be a self-motivated team player, who is enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare
· Have the ability to accept and process donations in a timely manner
· Ensure stock quality and pricing aligns with the National Guide
This is s a physical role, never sitting down.
