Bo & Co Electrical, a high-quality and well-known Electrical and Solar services company based in Cambridge, is looking for a proactive, organised Office & Operations Coordinator to take full responsibility for day-to-day business support.

This is a sole-charge, hands-on role — you’ll work independently, take initiative, and play a key part in shaping company systems, processes, and culture. 

Hours are 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday

What You’ll Do

  • Manage comms and enquiries via phone, email, and general correspondence, ensuring all leads are followed up.
  • Maintain customer databases, job records, and operational documentation.
  • Support sales, marketing, and client engagement (social content, flyers, welcome packs)
  • Oversee scheduling and operations: weekly job calendars, vehicle maintenance tracking, and coordination of teams.
  • Assist with HR and onboarding, staff events, and company culture initiatives.
  • Manage payroll, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, GST/PAYE, and reporting
  • Develop, document, and maintain company policies, SOPs, and operational procedures.
  • Provide reporting for financial, operational, and sales metrics

About You

  • 3–5 years’ experience in operations, administration, or business support (Xero experience a plus!)
  • Confident, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of a varied workload
  • Highly organised, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable implementing and improving policies, SOPs, and systems
  • Able to prioritise, balance  multiple tasks, and deliver results
  • Reliable and ready to commit, this is a long-term role for someone who can step in and thrive without constant supervision.
